Claudet-Laguiole was founded with goal of providing a higher quality web experience for people looking for Laguiole corkscrews and Laguiole knives online. We also wanted to provide access to products that are harder to find in the United States, such as our Forge de Laguiole corkscrews, Forge de Laguiole knives, Laguiole en Aubrac corkscrews and Laguiole en Aubrac knives. In addition to these difficult-to-find items, we also carry the more popular Chateau Laguiole corkscrew products.
The founders and owners Chris and Joceline Foley and Chad and Kristin Lauterbach are wine and food lovers and saw a need for a higher quality experience when purchasing Laguiole corkscrews and Laguiole knives. Users of the Laguiole products themselves, they came to appreciate the great craftsmanship that goes in to them and were surprised to discover the limited availability and shopping options of many of these products in the United States.
