The Stabilized Red Chateau Laguiole Grand Cru Sommelier is a waiter's-style Laguiole corkscrew handcrafted of dye- and resin-infused wood and steel, featuring a foil cutter and a 5-turn grooved corkscrew. The stabilized wood is extremely durable and is virtually impervious to water.
Made with the same care and precision given to all Chateau Laguiole corkscrews, the Grand Cru models are given a reinforced joint between the screw and handle. The Grand Cru also has a somewhat more modern design, with steel extending further toward the center of the corkscrew, ending in a diagonal cut, while still retaining the traditional bee and shepherd's cross.
